St. Gallen

In 612 AD, an Irish monk established St. Gallen is now Switzerland’s seventh largest city. This old town has a lot of enticing buildings, with engraved balconies and colorful frescoes. The cathedral is a twin-towered beauty with paintings on the ceiling and magnificent designs on the walls.
